Dr. Brenda Green is an Associate Professor in the Department of Indigenous Health at First Nations University of Canada in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Her academic interest is with the process of implementing healthy public policy through community collaboration, situated knowledge and transformative research. Together with Elders and colleagues, her work concentrates on anti-racist pedagogy and collaborative research that not only includes policy and research methods, it is also structured around feminist perspectives of care and caring within Indigenous populations. As well, much of Dr. Green’s scholarship has focused on ethics and morality in health.
