About The Recovery Summit
The Recovery Summit is hosted by The Recovery Project, a network of think tanks and research institutes designed to start the conversation about post-pandemic recovery. The initiative was founded by Global Progress, Canada 2020 and the Institute of Fiscal Studies & Democracy at the University of Ottawa.
Launched in March 2020, The Recovery Project has engaged a growing community of political, policy, business, philanthropic and academic leaders through livestream conversations, podcast interviews and public thought-leadership about progressive policy responses for recovery.
The Summit — held in advance of the UN General Assembly in September — will be an opportunity to platform big ideas for a coordinated, progressive global recovery effort. The Summit will tackle five core themes in the context of recovery: Shared Prosperity, Democratic Resilience, Sustainability, Global Public Health, and Inclusive Societies.
